PARENTS/STUDENTS MEMORANDUM 

February 24, 2010 

1) SERVICE PROJECT - Craft supplies for the Johns Hopkins Children's Ward are due Thurs., March llth!  Must be NEW materials and if you need another list, let me know! 

2) STUDENT COUNCIL - Due to grammar test it will be March 9th! 

3) FABULOUS SPORTS - TOMORROW - No school? Then next Thurs.! 

FROM THE TEACHERS: 

TUESDAY CLASSES: 

1) GRAMMAR - TEST next Tuesday!! BRING BOOKS TO SCHOOL EVERY TUESDAY!! 

2) HISTORY - Read ALL of Chapter 25.  Due next Tuesday! 

WEDNESDAY CLASSES: 

1) MATH - Bring books & have any assigned work done upon return to school! 

2) BIOLOGY - Read Chapter 16 Section 1 & 2 and on page 325 answer 1-9 and on page 331 answer 1-7.  Due next Wednesday! 

THURSDAY CLASSES: 

1) MATH - Same as Wed.! 

2) VOCAB/SPELLING - SENIOR CLASS - Definitions due next Thurs.! INTERMEDIATE CLASS - Same as above! 

3) NOVEL - SENIOR CLASS - TEST next Thursday on "All Quiet On The Western Front"!!  Also read "The Pit And The Pendulum"! INTERMEDIATE CLASS - Read Chapter 2-3  in "Number The Stars" and bring in something about Lois Lowry/ the author! Due next Thursday! 

4) CREATIVE WRITING - SENIOR CLASS - Details given in class but you need to turn in a SCENE from your short story!  Due next Thursday! INTERMEDIATE CLASS - Write an Alliteration Poem (as described in class) and bring it in next Thursday! 

5) CURRENT EVENTS - NATIONAL & INTERNATIONAL NEWS ONLY - Due to Mrs. H. first thing every Thursday morning!
